Fingerless Gloves

I have worn fingerless gloves in winter for years now. I bought my first pair because I thought they looked cool and I wanted the ability to open my flip phone or count change for the bus while keeping my hands warm. Not only did they serve those purposes, but they also elicited an "Ooooo, I like your gloves" from 3 out of 5 women I spoke to while wearing them (margin of error = 1 woman). As dependent as we are on mobile devices with touchscreens or without, the time has come for fingerless gloves. True, there are some technologically advanced full-fingered gloves on the market that work with touchscreens, but in this case going low-tech is just cooler.

Price points on fingerless gloves range from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars depending on the retailer and material. Wool, of course, is the best material for knit gloves. The gloves below are not wool, but also cost less than $35. They should give you an idea of what's out there.

All are available @ ASOS.com.
